BYLAWS
Purpose
The Fox Hill Homeowners' Association is a civic organization
dedicated to the improvement and enjoyment of the Fox Hill membership area through its
participation and support of neighborhood and community activities.
Membership
Any adult resident of Fox Hill may become a member if interested in
the purpose of the Association and willing to take an active part. Adult members of one household constitute and are
entitled to one vote.
Officers
The officers of the organization will be President, Vice
President, Secretary, and Treasurer. They
will be elected by simple majority vote of the members present at the annual
meeting.
Meetings
The Association will hold its annual meeting in October. Written notice will be furnished to all members in
good standing and will include any business requiring the attention of the membership. The notice will be delivered at least two weeks
before the date of the meeting. Other meeting
of the membership may be called from time to time by the officers or by written request of
at least one third of the active members.
Dues
Membership dues shall be determine by the officers and approved by a
simple majority at the annual meeting. Dues
are payable in October of each year. Dues for
members joining after October will be allocated by month for the remainder of the year.
Standing Committees
The Association will have the following standing committees: (1) Entrances, (2) Membership, (3) Newsletter, (4)
Social, and (5) Telephone Chain. The
President may appoint other committees as needed. The
President shall appoint a chairman for each standing committee as soon as possible after
his/her election.
Amendments
These
Bylaws may be amended by a simple majority vote of the members present at the annual
meeting, provided that written notice of the proposed amendment is submitted at least 30
days piror to the annual meeting.
